Here you will see a editor box full of PHP and HTML code. You have to place your ad code in this script according to your requirements. It's differ from template to template. Use of Archiving, Site Feed, Email and Permissions Tabs Under Settings tab

Archiving is used to set Archive settings. This will also helps you in Site feed.

Archive Frequency : If you don't want to show Archive on your blog select "No Archive" . Use Daily, Weekly and Monthly as your requirements.

Enable Post Pages? : Show Archive on every page by choosing "YES" and choose "NO" if you don't want to show it.

Site Feed
Allow Blog Feed : Use None, Short and Full options to feeds for your post.

Feed Item Footer : "Enable Post Pages" to "Yes" (in Archiving settings) and set "Allow Blog Feed" to "Full"if you want to use it.

Email : You can post via email and can be informed via email on publish new post.

BlogSend Address : Write your email address in box and you will be informed via email whenever you publish any post.

Mail-to-Blogger Address : You can post via email by this option. Write abc name in box and use this email to post in blogger via email. Don't forgot on clicking checkbox of "Publish".

Permissions : Set type of visitors of your blog with this option.

Blog Authors : You can add some others persons to write a post for your blog.

Click on "ADD AUTHORS" and Enter the email addresses of people you want to write to your blog. Click on INVITE.

Blog Readers : By default it is "Anyone" so anyone can see your blog. You can choose peoples by putting email addresses in Text box by click on "Only People I Choose" checkbox. Select "Only Blog Authors" to show your blog to only authors of blog but you can show your blog to only one author.

Comments tab is used to moderate the setting of comments in your blog post.

Comments : Here you have two options Show and Hide. To display comments on your blog click on “Show” option box. Otherwise click on Hide if you don't want to show comments on your blog.

Who Can Comment? : Select here the authorizing to visitors to give comments.
1. Only Registered Users : By choosing this option only peoples who have account on blogger or with blogspot url can give comments only on your site. To give comment they have to first login with their blogger account and then they can give comments.

2. Anyone : Anyone can post comments on your blog if you select this option.
3. Only members of this blog : By selecting this option you can the members of your blog ( to whom you allow) can give comments.

Comments Default For Posts : Select "New Posts Do Not Have Comments" if you don't want comments to your new posts. Otherwise select "New Posts Have Comments"

Back Links : By turning on Back links, it include a "Links to this post" section on your post pages. Whenever you link to one of these posts, a reciprocal "backlink" will automatically appear below your post. Select "SHOW" to show your back links otherwise select HIDE.

Back links Default For Posts : "New posts have backlinks" will show backlinks to your New posts and "New posts have not backlinks" never show backlinks to your new posts. This option cannot works in some blogger templates codes found on others sites.

Comments Timestamp Format : Select your Timestamp which you see in last of every posted comment.

Show Comments In Pop Up Window : when someone put some comments on your blog select do u want to show comments in pop window or not. Select “NO” because pop up window comments are hard to find for search engine. And comments are the food of search engines. So never choose "YES".

Enable Comment Moderation? : Moderate your blog comments by selecting "Yes". Suppose someone put a comment on your blog. Then you will get an email like " this person.... this commet" Read and if you think it cannot harm your blog or not any type of abuse. Then press Publish Otherwise cancel.

But If you select "No" Anyone can put any comment on your site without your knowledge. So better is use Comment Moderation "YES"Just Select "YES" and give your email where you will get comment indication.

Show Word Verification For Comments? : On "YES" your blog always show Word Verification (some text) for every comment. To avoid Spam you select it "YES". On "NO" it will not show any word verification for posting comments.

Show Profile Images On Comments? : It will show the image of comment poster (if poster have blog and image in profile) on choosing "YES". If you don't want to show images with comments select "NO"

Comment Notification Address : Write your email where you want to get informed when someone leaves a comment on your blog.

Formatting tab is used to change the settings of post, time etc.

Show : This option is used to how many posts you want to display on your main page or home page. You can set it by 2 ways :

Days : Choose day option If you want to display your post according to day wise. Write the no. of posts you want to show on the main page in single day. By default it is 7. You can select maximum 999 posts in single day. It means if you set 15 and you posted 20 posts in single day then 15 latest posts will be display on the main or home page. (rest 5 posts on the second page.)

Posts : Write the no. of posts which you want to display on the main page. No matter how old post is? If you select 10 then it will show 10 posts on the main page. It’s better option than day option.

Date Header Format : You can select date header format according to your choice.

Archive Index Date Format : Choose your Archive Date format from here.

Timestamp Format : Set your favorite time format from here.

Time Zone : Select your zone time from this option. You can move from one zone to another time zone.

Language : Select the language which you want to show in your blog. Suppose if you choose Chinese language then it will show your blog settings in Chinese language (not all but some). So, choose language according to your choice. By default it is "English (United States)".

Convert Line Breaks : If you set it "YES" then no need to give <> tag in html during writing in post editor for next line. Suppose you write "HI" in first line then Enter, "How are you" in second line Enter, and "ok?"

It will show in post preview like same as you write.

But if you select no then it will show in single line like "HI how are you ok?"

Show Title Field : If you don't want to give title to your post then select it as "NO" It will remove the title field option in post editor. By default it is "YES". Better is to select as "YES" and give title to every post. It will be helpful to take better rank in search engine.

Show Link Field : It is used to hyperlink to your post title. Select "YES" if you want to hyperlink to your post title.

And when you click on the Title of the post in preview it will take you on the http://www.god.com directly.

Enable float alignment : Select "NO" if you have any layout problems. Never use image-positioning options while uploading images, otherwise layout problems may occur. Use class="left", class="right" or class="centered" instead for positioning images with float alignment.

Post Template : Set your post template here. Suppose you write in this box "Thanx for visiting my blog" and HTML format Blogger Guide as shown in figure

It will show every time in post editor text box when you are going to post a new post.

Publishing tab under setting is used for the setting of domain. It has specially two tabs.

Custom domain: If you have a domain name or want to be your blog on domain name (yourblog.blogspot.com to yourname.com).
Click on custom domain.

Write your domain name .com or .info any(must be registered, if not registered it first).
It will show an error message if the domain is already hosted on another space.
Otherwise show you message "Settings Were Saved Successfully"(you can take more help from "setup instructions")

FTP and SFTP : Change your publish settings by File Transfer Protocol or Secure File Transfer Protocol. Never try to change if you don't have all info need to change (ftp server address, ftp pass, ftp username)Ask to your host provider for setting info.

Blogspot Address: Used to change the url address of blogger. ex. Suppose you have url http://toocutepic.blogspot.com/ and you want to change the blog url like verycutepic.blogspot.com or beautifulpic.blogspot.com. Write your new desired blog url but be sure the blogspot url which you are going to be choose must be available on the blogger or not used by any another user.

It will show error message or "Sorry this blog is not available". Otherwise you will see message Settings Were Saved Successfully.

Click on blogspot.com to get your old blogger url address.

Send Pings: A blog notify service to individual to track blog changes.

You can use weblog site to ping. Weblog is a blog update notification service. You can also try pingoat.com or autopinger.com, enter your blog info and they will ping a multitude of sites for you.

Uses of tabs under Basic :

Title: Write here which you want to show in the title bar of your blog. It is too important to write. It will be helpful to get search engine ranking. So, choose it carefully. If possible write keywords in title.

Description: Give your blog description here whatever you want to describe about your blog topic. You can write maximum unto 500 words.

Add your Blog to our listings? : If you want to display your blog name on your blogger profile or anywhere on blogger.com select "Yes". If you don't want to show select "No”. But it will still be available on the Internet to view.

Show quick editing on your blog? : You can use Quick Edit links when you are logged in blogger account because it use cookies, so you can only access them when you are logged in to your Blogger account. If you select "Yes" it will give you direct access to the post. Republish your blog main index page to see the Quick Edit links changes.

Show email post links? : If you want to send your post to anyone or want to allow others to send your post to others then select "Yes". It will be helpful to make your blog popular. So, I strongly recommend you select yes.

Select "No" if you don't want to share your post with anyone.

It will see like this icon in the last of every post if you select "Yes". Everyone can send your post to anyone. But, No Spam. Otherwise you blog can be banned.

Global Settings: The changes made under this option will effect to your all blogs on single account. Suppose, I have 3 blogs toocutepics, allfreesoftware, Unbelieaveable and if I make some changes in Settings>>Basic>> Global settings any one of 3 blogs. It will effect to all blogs settings. In Global settings there are only 2 options:

Show Compose Mode for all your blogs? : If you don't want to show compose mode on your post editor. Select "NO” it also stops the options of editing HTML. It is same like as whysiwyg editor. Select "Yes" for Compose and HTML editing Tabs

Show transliteration button for your posts? : You see some blogs in different languages. Like:

Norsk
Svenska
suomi
Hindi
Português do Brasil
If you want to write your post in your favorite language. Select "Yes". It will show a button in your post editor toolbar. By default it will show you your country language (out of language which bloggers accept) You can select others languages from CLICK HERE .
After selecting your favorite language you can write in your fav. language.

The best thing of blogger this option is you have to write your language in English it's automatically converts English alphabets into your selected language. This is the superb feature of blogger, which make blogger totally different.

Save Settings: After making all changes don't forgot to click on the save settings.

Delete this blog: The worst and best option on the blogger. If you clicked on it by mistakenly. It will destroy your hard work. Your blog will be deleted from your account. I did it once by mistakenly and my 25 posts blog deleted. So, never try to play with this button.

But it can be helpful in emergency cases or for any others reason to not show your blog. You can use this option to delete your blog from the Internet.

Settings option is used to change the settings of blog. You can change the publish setting, formatting setting, Comment moderation etc from this option of blogger.

Settings consists of following functions :

Basic : Change the title, description, email post option, your blog language like : Hindi, Chinese, urdu etc.

Publishing : Convert your sub-domain name into your own domain name.

Formatting : Change the date time format, post display on home page, title field, link field etc.

Comments : You can set your comment settings i.e. who can give comment, delete comment etc. from this option.

Archiving : Set your archiving monthly weekly or daily.

Site feed : Used for feed settings.

Email : Post on your blogger via email. Create your blog send address to publish.

Permissions : Set permission to users to see your blog. You can select your type of visitors.

How to insert images in post?

To insert picture in blog click on the ADD IMAGE icon.

When you clicked on the Add Image icon a new window will be open.

To insert image :

1. Click on the Browse button.

2. Locate the picture or give the path of picture which you want to insert.
(Note : you can insert picture with extension jpg, gif, bmp and png images and up to 8 MB maximum size. )
3. Click on ok

4. You will see window like this...(C:/documents and setting/... is called path )

5. Now, select your Layout where you want to display your picture in the post of blog.

Choose left to display your picture in left, and same as left and center.

If you want to place your picture in anywhere in post choose None layout. By choosing None option you can drag your picture and place anywhere in post.

6. Your next step is to select the size of picture.

Choose option according to your requirement of the image size Small, Medium, Large.

7. Click on UPLOAD IMAGE to upload the image.

If you want to cancel the picture click on CANCEL

After creating your account on blogger your nest step is posting.

Title : Write your title of post in title text box. (How to get a domain? etc.)

and write description in paragraph box. Use formatting according to your requirement and click on publish to show your post in blogger.

You can change the Style, Color, and Size of fonts, Alignments of text.

This icon is call Font size icon. You can change the size of fonts from this menu.

Click on b for bold text and i for italic text.

Use Check Spelling to check the grammatical errors.

If you want to change the color of text. Choose your favorite color from Text color by clicking on it.

Looking to hyperlink a word. Just select your text to which you want to be hyperlink and click on link icon.

These alignments are use to change the text position. You can change the alignment to left, center, right, justify.

Use numbered list or bulleted list from this icon.

Give a block quote from here.

Upload your picuture and select left, right and none position.

This tool is use to remove the formatting from selection.

See how post seen in browser.

See html code by clicking on Edit Html icon. Use Compose to come back.

If your word verification is on then it will ask you for word verification on every post or changes.

It's very simple to create an account or to get a free blog on blogger.
Follow the following steps to get a blogger account:

1. Open www.blogger.com

2. Click on the "CREATE YOUR BLOG NOW"

3. Now you will see the option of "1. Create a Google Account"

4. Email address : Fill your email address(mailto:abc@, xya@hotmail.com etc. ) or If you have the gmail you need to Login first by clicking on "sign in first".

5. Enter a password : Choose your password (ah1111).

Password Strength : It shows you your how much your password is secured by colour signals.
Red color = Very weak Password (1.e. 123456, abcde)
Yellow color = Weak password (1.e a111111, 1aaaaaa)
Green color = strong password (yourname9876, love2353, adgsj88)

You need a strong password to get green signal. It's just for your security. Always use numbers and alphabets in your password.

6. Retype password : Re-type your password here(same as above ah111)

7. Display Name : Write here the name which you want to show on the blog.

8. Word Verification : Type the word which you see in image. It can be numbers or alphabet or both like 12ahu, tubbe etc.

9. Acceptance of Terms : Click on the checkbox to accept the terms of service.
